What we encourage
• Public domain works
• Your original arrangements and compositions you have the right to share
• Creative Commons works that allow redistribution (CC0, CC BY)
• Chords / form / lyrics structure only for standards that remain under copyright — not full melody transcriptions of protected works

What is not allowed
• Full melody lead sheets of copyrighted standards (including scans or MusicXML derived from commercial Real Books) without authorization
• Content you do not have rights to share
• Malware, spam, or illegal content
• Mislabeling a copyrighted transcription as public domain

Community publish requirements
1. Choose an accurate license
2. Attest that you have the right to share the content, or that it is public domain
3. Attest that you are not uploading a full protected melody without authorization (use chords-only when appropriate)
4. Accept this Upload Policy

Submissions may be held as pending until reviewed. StageScore may remove content that violates this policy or applicable law.

Personal library backup is private to your account. You remain responsible for the legality of files you store.
