Filing a takedown notice
Send a written notice to the agent above including:
1. Identification of the copyrighted work
2. Identification of the material to remove (title, and the community chart ID if known)
3. Your name, address, phone number and email
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
6. Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notice
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice including:
1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification
4. Your name, address and phone number
5. Your consent to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal district court (or, if you are outside the U.S., any judicial district where StageScore may be found), and your agreement to accept service from the person who filed the notice

We may restore the material 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the person who filed the notice tells us they have filed a lawsuit.

Reporting in the EU
Anyone can report illegal content using the Report button on any Community chart, or by email to the agent above. When we remove content, we tell the uploader why and how to contest the decision.

Community users
Do not upload copyrighted lyrics or full melody transcriptions without authorization. Prefer public-domain works or chords-only contributions for protected standards. See the Upload Policy.
